Family Practice - Without OB Physician

About the role

SageWest Health Care is recruiting a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join their established group in Lander and Riverton, Wyoming. The position offers comprehensive medical services to a population of over 40,000 in Fremont County, including 24/7 hospitalist and emergency care, surgery, women's health, and advanced diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a multi-disciplinary setting
• Treat a typical patient load of 20+ patients per day when fully ramped up
• Perform typical procedures within scope of practice
• Work closely with a team of 3 primary care physicians, 1 general surgeon, 1 obstetrician/gynecologist, 1 ENT specialist, 1 physical therapy physician, and 1 general internal medicine physician
• Access to mammography services accredited by the American College of Radiology
• Participate in a Chest Pain Center accreditation program for quality cardiac care
• Enjoy scenic mountain views from both home and office
• No state income tax

Requirements

• BE/BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WY and DEA with full prescriptive authority
• Minimum of one year in practice preferred

Qualifications

• Medical school degree
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Current medical license in the State of WY
• Valid DEA prescription authority
• One year of relevant clinical experience preferred

Pay

Compensation is in the MGMA 50th-75th percentile inclusive of RVU production incentive. Additional benefits include:

Schedule
