Arc Health is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join their team at the Chinle, part of the Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS).

About The Facility

Chinle is a 60-bed hospital offering comprehensive care to approximately 35,000 Navajo Nation residents. Services include inpatient/outpatient primary care, pediatrics, OB/GYN, emergency medicine, mental health, public health, and more. This role is primarily outpatient with flexibility to support across service units if needed.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver full-spectrum outpatient care under the direction of the Acting Primary Care Director.
  • Participate in culturally responsive, community-centered health services.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance continuity of care and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with IHS protocols, CMS standards, and privacy laws.

Assignment Details

  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 40 hours/week; potential for some telehealth or coverage at surrounding clinics.
  • Duration: Flexible minimum of 13 weeks to 12 months (with potential to extend).
  • Start: As soon as credentialed.
  • EMR: RPMS (training provided).

Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM or ABFM).
  • Unrestricted state license and DEA (Schedules II V).
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Minimum of 6 months recent clinical experience in outpatient care.
  • Clean background check, malpractice history, and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass health and security clearance.
