Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Position Overview

This role provides full-scope Family Medicine care across the lifespan (pediatrics through geriatrics). Physicians practice in a collaborative environment with opportunities in outpatient clinic, urgent care, inpatient, and emergency care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prenatal care experience is preferred but not required.
• Deliver comprehensive diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic care.
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.
• Prescribe medications, treatments, and vaccinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and patient engagement initiatives.
• Serve as an active member of the medical staff, including potential roles in hospitalist and ED coverage.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
• Serve on committees and contribute to organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited U.S. program (or equivalent with ECFMG certification).
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (FSMB recognized).
• Life Certifications, BLS, ACLS, etc.
• Unrestricted DEA.
