Family Practice - With OB Physician

About the role

SageWest Health Care is recruiting a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join their established group in Lander and Riverton, Wyoming. The position offers comprehensive medical services to a population of over 40,000 in Fremont County, including 24/7 hospitalist and emergency care, surgery, women's health, and advanced diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Work 40 hours per week (typically Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, but flexible)
• No call currently (Medicare guidelines followed)
• Average 20+ patients per day when fully ramped up
• Treatment of typical procedures based on provider comfort
• Access to support staff including 1 Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN) per provider
• Collaboration with other practitioners such as 3 Primary Care Physicians (PCPs), 1 General Surgeon (GS), 1 Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB), 1 Physical Therapy ENT (ENT), 1 Physical Therapy IM (IM), and 1 Physical Therapy GS (GS)

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Surgical OB fellowship or equivalent experience required for C-sections, etc.
• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WY and DEA with full prescriptive authority
• Minimum of one year in practice preferred
