Responsibilities
- Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care for patients
- Conduct initial worker’s comp evaluations, occupational and pre-employment physicals and screenings
- Perform histories and physical examinations, working with patients to develop treatment plans
- Promote wellness educational programs
- Prescribe and dispense medications, educate, and advise on medical issues as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current and unrestricted Florida medical license
- Dispensing license (Florida) or willing to obtain one
- DEA license
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
Preferred Skills
- Experience in primary or urgent care setting
- Perform GYN care and well women exams
