Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including chronic diseases and acute illnesses.
  • Utilize established evidence-based clinical protocols.
  • Utilize all Clinic resources to improve patient outcomes, including behavioral health consultants, Diabetic Educators, audiologists, etc.
  • Keep abreast of current trends in healthcare including attending regular and required continuing education programs.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
  • Ensure clinical notes are entered in the patient’s electronic medical record in an accurate and timely manner, according to industry standards and Community Clinic policy.
  • Adhere to and commit to the mission of Community Clinic.
  • Reinforce the mission with staff and promote the mission to the community.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school.
  • Physician licensed to practice medicine in the state of Arkansas.
  • Current and unrestricted DEA number.
  • Knowledge of clinical practices related to family medicine.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
