Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including chronic diseases and acute illnesses.
- Utilize established evidence-based clinical protocols.
- Utilize all Clinic resources to improve patient outcomes, including behavioral health consultants, Diabetic Educators, audiologists, etc.
- Keep abreast of current trends in healthcare including attending regular and required continuing education programs.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Ensure clinical notes are entered in the patient’s electronic medical record in an accurate and timely manner, according to industry standards and Community Clinic policy.
- Adhere to and commit to the mission of Community Clinic.
- Reinforce the mission with staff and promote the mission to the community.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Physician licensed to practice medicine in the state of Arkansas.
- Current and unrestricted DEA number.
- Knowledge of clinical practices related to family medicine.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
