Family Practice/Obstetrics Physician - Locums Coverage

About the role

Seeking a healthcare professional for a locum tenens role with comprehensive support from a dedicated team. You will provide obstetric and pediatric inpatient care, including deliveries, C-sections, and inpatient pediatrics.

Schedule

• Work in 7-day blocks with 24-hour call from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Deliver obstetric care, including approximately 175-180 deliveries with a 13% section rate
• Manage 10-12 adult inpatients and up to 3 pediatric inpatients
• Perform pediatric procedures and provide inpatient pediatric care
• Maintain patient safety and collaborate with healthcare teams

Requirements

• Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Medical certification and inpatient obstetric experience
• Advanced neonatal resuscitation skills
