Job Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered virtual primary care through video and text-based telehealth.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and evidence-based treatment recommendations.
- Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory and diagnostic test results.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate appropriate follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Care Coordination:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve clinical workflows and enhance the telehealth experience.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Innovation & Collaboration:
- Contribute physician insights to support product development and technology improvements.
- Participate in clinical education and marketing initiatives as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) state (required).
- Eligibility for additional state licensure through the IMLC is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of outpatient primary care experience.
- Experience diagnosing and managing a broad range of primary care and urgent care conditions.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM Pacific Time (12:00 PM–8:00 PM Central / 1:00 PM–9:00 PM Eastern).
- Strong technology skills and comfort using telehealth platforms and digital communication tools.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient engagement skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
- Additional active state medical licenses (preferred).
- Prior telemedicine or virtual care experience (preferred).
- Experience with value-based care or employer-sponsored healthcare models (preferred).
