Family Planning Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Implement family planning program activities as outlined by Title X Family Planning Program requirements and CBHA guidelines.
  • Cook up and order program supplies and education materials to support the needs of patients and program staff.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to members of the medical care team regarding family planning program and services.
  • Oversee and complete documentation of required information per Title X guidelines.
  • Complete all project reporting, including timely, quality, and concise reports necessary for project deliverables and to evaluate project outcomes.
  • Maintain excellent patient service relationships and represent CBHA professionally in all work related interactions with patients, the medical care team, community partners, and Title X colleagues.
  • Coordinate and participate in outreach events to promote and educate on family planning services and resources.
  • Promote a positive work culture and uphold clinic policies and procedures, including the WE CARE Standards of Behavior.
  • Ensure confidentiality at all times in regards to CBHA activities, reports, financials, patient health information and other proprietary information specific to CBHA.

Requirements

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree or higher in the field with relevance to health care.
  • Candidates with relevant work experience or advanced education in public health, health administration, or another relevant field will be considered with preference.
  • Experience in training and developing the skills of others.
  • Knowledgeable and maintains compliance with recognized HIPAA regulations.
  • Ability to prepare correspondence and reports utilizing Microsoft software and/or e-mail.
  • Ability to create tables and simple displays of information into spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to enter and manage data into a centralized electronic health records.
  • Ability to set up and coordinate phone conferences utilizing technology and conference room systems.
  • Possesses the ability to successfully form, foster and improve relationships with members of a culture different from one's own.
  • Possesses ability to meet with a variety of people, both formally and informally, and to communicate in a manner that the receiving party will clearly understand.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish to speak with patients.
