Family Physician
Overview
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Department of Family & Community Medicine (DFCM), is seeking a qualified family physician to join its Lexington-based residency program. Faculty will teach residents in outpatient and inpatient settings, participate in medical student education, and provide patient care, including non-surgical obstetrics for residents’ continuity patients at Albert Chandler Hospital.
DFCM operates multiple primary care clinics across Kentucky, including Lexington, Georgetown, Hazard, and Hindman, and leads population-based care initiatives, value-based clinical redesign, and transitional care management. Faculty have opportunities to participate in innovative programs in population medicine, research, and education.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with completion of a residency program
- Board certification in Family Medicine
- Unrestricted Kentucky medical license
