About the role
Fetuga Medical Clinic is a newly established, modern primary care clinic in Steinbach, Manitoba, dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred care to a growing community.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of comprehensive primary care services, including prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education
- Continuity of care, including follow-up and coordination with specialists and allied health services
- Participation in clinic quality improvement initiatives and team-based care
- Maintenance of accurate and timely medical records using EMR systems
Qualifications
- Education and Training (Required): Completion of Family Medicine Residency
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
- Current registration and in good standing
- Knowledge, Skills, And Experience: Experience in primary care or community-based practice preferred
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using EMR systems
- Assets: Interest in chronic disease management, mental health, women’s health, or walk-in medicine
- Experience in rural or semi-urban practice settings
Compensation
Competitive fee-for-service or alternative funding models available. Flexible arrangements can be discussed to suit individual preferences.
