About the role

Fetuga Medical Clinic is a newly established, modern primary care clinic in Steinbach, Manitoba, dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred care to a growing community.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of comprehensive primary care services, including prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education
• Continuity of care, including follow-up and coordination with specialists and allied health services
• Participation in clinic quality improvement initiatives and team-based care
• Maintenance of accurate and timely medical records using EMR systems

Qualifications

• Education and Training (Required): Completion of Family Medicine Residency
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
• Current registration and in good standing
• Knowledge, Skills, And Experience: Experience in primary care or community-based practice preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
• Commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using EMR systems
• Assets: Interest in chronic disease management, mental health, women’s health, or walk-in medicine
• Experience in rural or semi-urban practice settings

Compensation

Competitive fee-for-service or alternative funding models available. Flexible arrangements can be discussed to suit individual preferences.
