Family Physician

About the role

We provide high quality, proactive primary care to adults and children in partnership with local employers or unions. We focus on prevention and wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and maximizing provider-patient relationships. We seek providers who are passionate about providing full-spectrum primary care resulting in top-notch clinical quality, outstanding service, and reduced overall health costs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered primary care, to employees at assigned Marathon Health Centers through an Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care.
• Enhance relationships with patients by facilitating preventive care and proactively working with patients to prevent diseases and injuries.
• Work within a team of professionals who are passionate about improving the U.S. healthcare system.
• Enjoy an insurance-free work environment, as we rarely bill insurance, and increase the time to focus on patient care.
• Leverage technology to consult with patients and provide access through mobile phones and secure email.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teamwork and collaborate with at least two or more Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of residency with professional experience in Family Practice or Internal Medicine + Pediatric.
• Board certification or eligibility and intent to certify required; Active state license required; DEA preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date. Per state regulations, may be required to have a dispensing license.

Pay

$220,000 - $280,000/yr

Schedule

This position is also eligible for an annual incentive.
