What You Will Do To Change Lives
- Engage family members and prospective participants to foster willingness to accept available services.
- Provide information, education, and resources to family members to help them better support their loved one in recovery plans.
- Support and manage cases for assigned family members and participants, ensuring their needs are heard and included in their recovery plans.
- Work closely with participants and their families, collaborating with the clinical team to complete program intakes/assessments, facilitate groups, promote engagement, and provide peer and family support services.
- Serve as an advocate for participants and families, interacting with service providers and advocating for necessary support.

Full-Time | AM | Shifts: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM | Days: Monday - Friday
Expected starting wage range
$21.00 - $22.52

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least two (2) years' experience in a mental health services environment
- Peer Certification must be obtained prior to hire date and maintained throughout employment
- California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA must be obtained within 120 days of your date of hire and maintained throughout employment
- At least five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a parent or primary caregiver of a person with behavioral health care needs
- Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.

Pay

Telecare
Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
About the Program
Home First North FSP is Orange County’s Housing Full Service Partnership (FSP) program focused on providing housing-supportive services and behavioral health services to individuals residing in Orange County. Our purpose is to support members in maintaining stable housing, including resolving housing challenges and providing case management and behavioral health-focused services. Our staff creates a supportive environment, including services that are based on individual needs, hopes, and dreams. Home First North FSP members have access to a multidisciplinary team that includes peer specialists, case managers, a psychiatrist, a nurse practitioner, masters-level team leads, and clinicians who have experience in providing housing-supportive services and behavioral health-focused services.
Program Serves
- Residents of Orange County, ages 18 and older, who have been diagnosed with a severe mental illness
- Individuals who have been housed and are currently at risk of losing housing in Orange County
