Family Partner - Weekend Relief

Job Summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Family Partner to provide support to parents during a psychiatric emergency assessment of their children. The ideal candidate must have a lived experience raising a child with behavioral or developmental support needs and must be able to navigate the mental health system.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Master’s level clinicians to intervene and stabilize youth in crisis
• Provide support to parents or guardians by helping them navigate the mental health system
• Direct parents or guardians toward each step in the process

Requirements

• Experience helping to raise a child with social, emotional, mental health, or substance abuse concerns
• Experience navigating the myriad of youth services required
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office) required
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree with one year working with youth preferred
• High School/GED and two years working with target population considered

Pay and Schedule

• Pay Rate: $22.27/hour additional $1 for CPS additional $2 for CARC
• Relief hours available with a weekend need
