About the role

Join a nationally recognized wealth management and family office firm that provides integrated financial advisory, tax, accounting, investment management, and family office services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, executives, entrepreneurs, and business owners. This role offers broad exposure to complex financial matters and requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a client-service mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple clients
  • Process payroll and oversee bill payment activities
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Assist with mortgage applications and insurance placements
  • Support various client-specific financial projects and initiatives
  • Provide business management and financial concierge services
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for client requests and inquiries
  • Assist clients with a wide range of financial and administrative needs
  • Support ongoing financial organization and planning efforts
  • Prepare customized client reports
  • Generate financial statements and spending analyses
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist with budgeting and cash flow reporting as needed
  • Support forensic accounting engagements related to matrimonial and litigation matters
  • Analyze financial records and prepare findings
  • Create presentations and supporting documentation for attorneys and court proceedings
  • Participate in ad hoc projects for clients and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain written procedures and process documentation
  • Create client-specific operating manuals and workflows
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the broader team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or family office experience
  • Prior experience within a Family Office, Business Management Firm, CPA Firm, or similar environment is required
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience supporting high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients
  • Exposure to family office operations and financial administration
  • Experience with forensic accounting or complex financial reporting
