Family Office Accountant

Company Overview: A prominent $25B+ global asset manager and single-family office is seeking a Family Office Accountant to support their finance team during a transitional period. This role focuses on hands-on day-to-day accounting, reporting, and financial operations while contributing to system implementation and process improvement. Job Responsibilities: Assist with month-end close for management company entities: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and close packagesPrepare and maintain management company P&L reporting segmented by department, cost center, or vendorSupport FP&A activities including budget-to-actual variance analysis and periodic reforecastingCoordinate with the tax team on federal, state, and local compliance; prepare supporting schedules and workpapersManage accounts payable, expense accruals, and vendor payment workflowsAssist with payroll accruals and reconciliation in coordination with HR/payrollPrepare intercompany allocations and recharges across management entities and fund structuresMaintain internal controls and documentation of accounting policies and proceduresSupport annual audit preparation for management company entitiesLead or support Workday Financials implementation, leveraging prior NetSuite or similar ERP exposure; document processes, map data, and drive adoptionBuild and automate Excel-based reporting and close processes to improve efficiency and accuracyAd hoc reporting and special projects as directed by the CFO Qualifications: 5–12 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a family office, private investment firm, or alternative asset manager management company environmentStrong hands-on GL close, accruals, and reconciliation skillsDemonstrated expertise in advanced Excel and comfort with ERP systemsPrior experience with system or process implementationsExperience collaborating with external tax advisors on income tax and partnership tax complianceComfort producing segmented P&L reporting by department, vendor, or entityCPA or CPA-track strongly preferredWorkday Financials experience a plus; prior NetSuite exposure helpful Compensation: Pay Rate: $60 – $90/hr The post Family Office Accountant appeared first on Landing Point.
