Job Summary
Washington Regional Urgent Care is seeking Family Nurse Practitioners to provide exceptional patient care in Mountain Home, AR. Key responsibilities include providing customer service, managing medical assessments and procedures, and working collaboratively with a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary customer service to patients, visitors and coworkers
- Provide convenient, friendly patient care to all who seek health-related services
- Provide leadership, direction, and assistance during emergencies
- Perform medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups for clinic patients
- Perform medical procedures such as laceration repairs, nail removal, and injections
- Establish and monitor a medically appropriate level of care for clinic patients
- Maintain clinical core competency and participate in in-service and continuing education programs
- Represent the company at meetings and events as required
- Assure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies
- Participate in the development and presentation of education programs for staff
- Recommend potential means of growth and development for new and/or existing services
What's Required?
- Experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner is preferred
- Active state license as an APRN
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Board Certification
- CURRENT DEA license, or eligibility to obtain upon hire
- CURRENT DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- CURRENT BLS certification
Schedule
The full-time team works a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. PRN team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
