About the Role
We are seeking caring and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and educate patients of all ages with various medical conditions, including primary care, urgent care, occupational health, DOT physicals, and workers' compensation.
- Perform medical procedures such as laceration repairs, injections, nail removal, pap tests, splinting, and abscess drainage.
- Provide excellent customer service, lead during emergencies, and maintain clinical competency.
- Oversee laboratory, x-rays, and collections, ensuring compliance with medical standards and policies.
- Participate in policy development, staff education, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Guide and support other medical staff to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
- Deliver friendly, efficient patient care in a team environment.
- Manage clinical assessments, treatments, and follow-up.
- Support operational policies and participate in ongoing education programs.
- Represent the clinic professionally at meetings and community events.
Requirements
- Active state license as an APRN or PA with current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Board Certification.
- Current DEA license or eligibility, and current BLS certification.
- Preferred minimum of one year of relevant experience.
- Willingness to obtain DOT certification if not already held.
