Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings while meeting patient volume goals for in-person and virtual visits.
  • Lead clinic staff (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services.
  • Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications; ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership to resolve patient care concerns and ensure adherence to company values.
  • Meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in-person visits as determined.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts and forward them as appropriate.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver patient-centric care through in-person and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, prioritizing safety, cost, and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, including HIPAA and health information management standards.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment within both in-person clinic and virtual settings.
  • Manage a queue of telehealth patients in a timely manner to ensure proper follow-up.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications; and educate patients on continued treatment and care for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Follow clinical practice guidelines set by the Office of Medical Affairs.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
  • Adhere to standard NP/PA protocols and complete all mandatory compliance training to meet quality-of-care standards.

Schedule Requirements

  • PRN Employees: Required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month.
  • Full-Time Employees: Required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.

Experience Levels and Requirements

  • Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Level 2: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with over 1 year and less than 5 years of experience.
  • Level 3: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with over 5 years and less than 10 years of experience.
  • Level 4: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with over 10 years of experience.

Ancillary Providers: Required to be on call periodically throughout the year.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).
  • Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (e.g., Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER, Trauma Unit, or Family Medical Practice) is strongly preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Active, verifiable license and DEA in good standing with the proper regulatory agency. DEA required for all providers; if limited by years of practice under state law, DEA must be obtained within 120 days of meeting the minimum requirement.
    • Must be able to treat patients of all ages and meet any credentialing requirements.
    • DOT certification required for full-time and part-time providers within 120 days of employment and must be maintained during employment.
