About the role
Pulse-MD Urgent Care is seeking a full-time and part-time certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for their Briarcliff and Mohegan Lake locations in New York. The practice is physician-owned and partners are involved in day-to-day operations.Responsibilities
- Our Urgent Care is open 8a-8p every day.
- Full-time position requires 3 twelve-hour shifts; part-time requires at least 2 twelve-hour shifts.
- Full-time position offers benefits and malpractice coverage.
- Part-time position requires availability to work at other locations if needed.
- Pulse-MD is a growing chain with multiple locations in Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester counties.
- The practice is looking for motivated individuals with strong leadership skills.

- FNP must have experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Room, or Internal Medicine.
- Requirements include analyzing and interpreting patient histories, diagnosing and treating acute health care problems, educating patients, maintaining current knowledge of state legal regulations, ordering and performing diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications.
- Preferred experience includes ER or Urgent Care and DOT certification.
Qualifications
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
- Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Room, or Internal Medicine experience required.
- Experience with self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.
- Knowledge of state legal regulations.
- Ability to perform care procedures such as suturing, splinting, administering immunizations, taking cultures, and debriding wounds.
- Ability to perform routine or annual physical examinations.
- Prescribing and administering medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost.
- Treating or referring patients for primary care conditions.
