Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Full-Time

Responsibilities
- Provide medical evaluation, assessment, and ongoing care for adult clients receiving treatment for substance use disorders.
- Conduct admissions, physical assessments, medication management, and follow-up visits as appropriate.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of practice.
- (For PMHNPs) Evaluate, diagnose, and manage co-occurring psychiatric conditions and prescribe psychiatric medications as appropriate.
- Consult and collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Cook with and coordinate with outside medical providers, hospitals, and community resources to support continuity of care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Experience working in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, addiction medicine, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals in recovery.

Starting Compensation
The starting compensation for this role is $130,000 per year; final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
