  • Tentative Hours: Tuesday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • No nights, weekends, or on-call

Pay

$68.00–$75.00 per hour

About The Role

Medcor is seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our employer-based clinic in Marshall, MN. This full-time opportunity involves working onsite within a manufacturing/processing environment, providing a combination of:

  • Occupational health and work-related injury/illness care
  • Workers' compensation injury evaluation and treatment
  • Medical surveillance and regulatory examinations
  • Primary and preventive care
  • Urgent and episodic care
  • Health and wellness education

You will serve as the clinic's sole provider, delivering care for employees, contractors, and eligible employee dependents over age 5. You'll collaborate with a Medcor-employed oversight physician, Operations Manager, Director, and other clinical and operational leaders. Occasional flexibility for additional hours may be requested with advance notice.

Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing high-quality clinical care and exceptional service to patients and the client
  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
  • Treating patients according to Evidence-Based Medicine standards
  • Providing primary, preventive, urgent, and episodic care
  • Performing occupational health surveillance and regulatory examinations
  • Educating patients regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Coaching patients on healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices
  • Documenting patient care using Medcor's EMR and other clinical tools
  • Collaborating with client health, safety, and environmental professionals
  • Partnering with client HR and benefits teams on clinical matters
  • Supporting workplace wellness and preventive health initiatives
  • Building strong relationships with patients, client contacts, and Medcor colleagues

Requirements

To be considered, you must:

  • Be a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Hold a current, unrestricted license to practice in Minnesota
  • Maintain current DEA registration
  • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Have strong computer skills and experience working with EMR systems
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be comfortable working independently as the sole onsite provider
  • Be comfortable practicing in an employer-based/worksite clinic environment
  • Demonstrate a collaborative, patient-focused approach and commitment to excellent customer service
