Responsibilities
- Care for every patient within your scope of practice.
- Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
- Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal.
- Suture wounds and splint injuries.
- Evaluate and manage general orthopedic conditions.
- Interpret x-rays under the supervision of a radiologist.
- Treat general dermatological issues.
- Assess general eye problems.
- Perform general EKG interpretations.
- Manage emergency situations.
- Treat general gynecological needs.
- Provide occupational medicine services.
- Offer telemedicine consultations.
Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner board certification required.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher education required (new graduates are welcome).
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (MainStreet covers the cost).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) is preferred.

Work Schedule
MainStreet Clinic Hours: Open extended hours, 7-days-a-week: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.
