Family Medicine with OB - Physician

About the role

Join an active staff of family physicians, general surgeons and advanced practice providers who see between 18-22 patients per day per clinician. OB is a must as over 160 babies are delivered per year. Call is 1:5 with rare occasions to come in as the ED is staffed with APPs 24/7.

Responsibilities

• See patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics
• Deliver over 160 babies annually
• Participate in a busy OB/GYN practice
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including family physicians, general surgeons, and advanced practice providers
• Provide care in a setting with 24/7 ED coverage

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• OB Certification Required

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current Medical License in the state of Iowa
• Experience in family medicine preferred

Pay

Schedule

Full-time position with 1:5 call schedule and 24/7 ED coverage.
