The Family Medicine Physician with OB provides care in a comprehensive family practice to patients spanning all age groups, from newborn to geriatric. As a non-profit, provider-based system of rural health clinics, Vernon is committed to serving the needs of the community. Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive care to patients spanning all age groups, from newborn to geriatric.
- Collaborates with a team-based clinic environment focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Works closely with an award-winning critical access hospital.
- Offers obstetric services, including close to home care.
- Participates in genetic research and care at the Center for Special Children.
- Engages in scientific study and personal relationships with the Plain community.
- Works in a non-profit, provider-based system of rural health clinics.
- Provides care in La Farge and Soldiers Grove Medical Clinics.
- Ensures compliance with hospital and clinic policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Family Medicine.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred.
- Current license to practice medicine in Wisconsin.
- Experience in rural healthcare settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-based, collaborative environment.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Board certified in Family Medicine.
- Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred.
- Wisconsin medical license.
- Experience in rural healthcare settings preferred.

Schedule
OB coverage approximately 1:5 weeks, Hospital coverage is approximately 1:8 weeks.
