Family Medicine Physician (Valley Health Services, Herkimer, NY) Per Diem

Bassett Healthcare Network in Central New York is seeking a Per Diem Physician for Valley Health Services, a 160-bed, long-term care and short-term rehabilitation facility. This privately-owned, not-for-profit organization serves a largely rural population and is committed to promoting optimal quality of life with regard to mind, body, and spirit.

About the role

• Traditional schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Collaborative working environment
• EMR systems: Point Click Care and EPIC
• Academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, offering opportunities for teaching and collaboration

Responsibilities

Provide medical care and support in a long-term care and short-term rehabilitation setting.

Requirements

• MD, DO, or MBBS degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• NYS Licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification Required
• DEA Required

Pay

Per Diem Rate: $150.00 per hour
