Family Medicine Physician Opportunity in Greenville, NC-Academic Employment

About the role

The Department of Family Medicine is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Family Medicine physician to join the department in a fixed term, or tenure track, academic position.

• Outpatient clinical responsibilities/inpatient negotiable

• Patient care activities which may include ambulatory direct patient care to an assigned panel of patients and patients of other providers and precepting residents
• Hospital patient care will include bedside teaching of residents, medical and PA students
• Medical Student teaching responsibilities may include didactic teaching one or two afternoons per week in the Foundations of Doctoring or other courses
• Strong emphasis on teaching, mentoring, advising, supervision of residents, medical students, and other learners
• Opportunities to develop administrative and scholarship skills
• Required: ACLS & BCLS certifications
