Family Medicine Physician - Locums Coverage

About the role

This role involves providing outpatient primary care services in a correctional facility setting, primarily for adult patients. You will deliver primary care within a secure environment, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and work with on-site support staff such as NPs and PRNs. Support staff includes two NPs and two PRNs to assist with clinical operations.

The position is locum with no specified employment duration and requires working on-site at a government facility in Pennsylvania, offering opportunities for leisure and exploration in the region.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variable patient caseload in an outpatient correctional healthcare setting
• Provide primary care across all ages without call responsibilities
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Adhere to correctional healthcare protocols
• Collaborate with on-site support staff, including NPs and PRNs

Requirements

• Board certification (negotiable)
• Prescriptive authority
• Experience in outpatient or correctional healthcare

Schedule

• Monday through Friday during day shifts
