Responsibilities

  • Manages the medical care of patient panel by providing or otherwise arranging for inpatient hospital care of physician’s patients.
  • Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the care team to ensure excellent patient care outcomes.
  • Performs and documents medical histories and physicals in the patient’s medical record as required by hospital medical staff bylaws.
  • Provides or arranges for call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage in a manner acceptable to BJC and in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws.
  • Collaborates and teaches advanced practice providers, support staff or any care team member assigned in the care of physician’s patient panel.

Requirements

  • Doctorate Medicine
  • No Experience Required
  • Licensed Physician

Qualifications

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Practicing Specialty
  • 2-5 years Experience Preferred

Pay

$300,000 2-year guaranteed salary, transitioning to a wRVU productivity compensation model

Schedule

36 patient-facing hours per week, Closed at 12 PM every Friday, Flexible work schedule, One week per year on-call, phone requirement; backup to the backup (i.e. highly unlikely you will be called during your one week per year on-call)
