Family Medicine Physician (Delhi, NY)

About the role

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system in Central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Family Medicine Physician. The position is based at Delhi Health Center in Delhi, NY, a NYS Patient-Centered Medical Home recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The practice emphasizes systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care supporting access, communication, and patient involvement. The primary care office is adjacent to affiliate hospital O’Connor Hospital. The role offers a full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population with no OB responsibilities. Visa sponsorship is available for J-1 and H-1B candidates. Loan repayment may be available through Federal and State programs.

Responsibilities

• Join a highly collaborative network and established family medicine practice
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• Provide full spectrum primary care to a diverse patient population
• Deliver coordinated, patient-centered care in an NCQA-recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home
• Collaborate with affiliate hospital O’Connor Hospital as needed

Requirements

• MD, DO, or MBBS degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Completion of an accredited USA Family Medicine residency
• New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS/ACLS Certification
• DEA Registration required

Pay

• Salary range: $320,000 – $347,000 (based on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation)
• Sign-on bonus up to $100,000
• Residency stipend up to $45,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation
• Geography stipend of $25,000 for physicians practicing primary care full-time in Delaware County (Delhi)
• Physician incentive plan with no earnings cap; individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year
