Job Summary

Join our established, comprehensive practice at our Citrus Heights clinic with Mercy Medical Group (MMG), growing our family medicine department by providing compassionate and expert services to the community of Citrus Heights, California.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and expert care, through diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to support the holistic well-being of patients.
• Work in a physician-led medical home model with advanced clinical practitioners and nurses.
• Have a strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive care within a busy, community-focused practice.
• Have a telephone call schedule of about twice a month and access to a 24-hour advice nurse.
• Collaborate with hospitalists available 24/7.
• Work in a collegial and supportive environment.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine (ABMS or AOA).
• Active or eligible license in the state of California.
• DEA certification.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• A passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
