Family Medicine - Physician

About the role

Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine physician to join their Family Medicine practice at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. The opportunity includes outpatient work and occasional urgent care moonlighting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team including physicians, Nurse Practitioners, pharmacists, certified medical assistants, nurses, and support staff.
• Teach medical students and advanced practice students.
• Participate in academic and/or research activities with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.
• Support patient care across central and southeastern Illinois through eight award-winning hospitals and a multispecialty provider group.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Family Medicine.
• Experience in Family Medicine preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
• Current clinic operating hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• License to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
• Passing score on the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX).

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $325,000 - $360,000. Actual compensation offered will depend on various factors including experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.

Schedule

Current clinic operating hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM. Additional moonlighting opportunities are available for urgent care.
