About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med/Peds physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

Responsibilities

  • Perform essential in-office procedures, such as punch biopsies and lesion removal, ensuring patients receive convenient, complete, and streamlined care.
  • Shape the future of medicine by actively mentoring medical students and residents, contributing to a vibrant academic and teaching culture.
  • Provide comprehensive, longitudinal care for a diverse patient panel ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, fostering long-term wellness within the community.
  • Deliver high-quality clinical outcomes by managing a manageable daily volume of approximately 20 patients, ensuring every individual receives the time and attention they deserve.
  • Manage a seamless continuum of care through light inpatient rounding (averaging 1–2 patients daily), ensuring clinical continuity from the clinic to the hospital.

Requirements

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med/Peds.
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to manage a busy caseload.
  • Ability to mentor and teach medical students and residents.

Pay

$150,000 - $180,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full Time, Outpatient call: None, Inpatient call: 1-2 nights per week for unattached patients, Weekend call 1:6
