About the role

The University of Missouri Department of Family & Community Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the collaboration of practice physicians. This position will be part of a dynamic team working together to deliver exceptional care. By engaging the strengths and talents of each team member, we ensure a strong organization capable of providing remarkable healthcare to our patients, families, and communities. This position will see Family Medicine patients for ongoing health care conditions, preventative care, and acute care needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and demonstrate high level of autonomy and expert skill in the diagnosis and treatment of actual and potential health problems.
• Perform patient histories and physical exams; order/perform diagnostic procedures; monitor patient condition, lab values and results of diagnostic procedures, and develop treatment goals.
• Collaborate with collaborative clinician in difficult or complicated cases and as agreed upon in collaborative agreement.
• Act as a resource for patients, families, nursing staff and other health care professionals in area of expertise.

Requirements

• Physician Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Pay

Anticipated hiring range: $110,000 – $126,000 annually. Grade: PAT‑012. University title: PHYSICIAN AST.
