Job Summary

Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is seeking a Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider to join their established team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. MVHS supports its providers in delivering high-quality healthcare to the Mohawk Valley region, prioritizing patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time employed position to join one of MVHS's offices. The role includes a traditional outpatient practice with 35 patient contact hours and 5 hours of administrative time per week. The provider will work alongside an established team with excellent support.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner’s Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Able to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital privileges.
• Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR software.

Licenses/Certifications Requirements

• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
• Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.
