The University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford (UICOMR) seeks a board-certified, family medicine physician for an Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Family Medicine position in its innovative Department of Family and Community Medicine.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Faculty supervision for clinical care provided by family medicine residents in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Direct clinical patient care and management of a personal panel of patients.
• Presentation of didactics to support medical education.
• Advising and mentoring of residents.
• Participation in resident and faculty recruitment activities.
• Precepting medical students on their family medicine clerkship in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Participation in scholarship activities to include dissemination.
• Participation in various committees related to the mission of the College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO or its foreign equivalent
• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Unrestricted Illinois license to practice medicine or Illinois license-eligible

• Point of care ultrasound skills

Pay

The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $230,000 to $290,000, based on a full-time equivalent (FTE). Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience while also considering internal equity. Additional incentive compensation may also be available for clinical work performed beyond the standard scope of responsibilities.
