About the role

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford (UICOMR) seeks a board-certified, family medicine physician for an Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Family Medicine position in its innovative Primary Care Clinic Program.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Faculty supervision of the clinical care provided by family medicine residents in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Direct clinic patient care and management of a personal panel of patients.
• Presentation of didactics to support residency curriculum.
• Advising and mentoring of residents.
• Participation in resident and faculty recruitment activities.
• Precepting medical students on their family medicine clerkship in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Participation in various committees related to the mission of the College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO or its foreign equivalent from an LCME accredited medical college.
• Board Certified in Family Medicine.
• Unrestricted Illinois license to practice medicine or Illinois license-eligible.

Pay

The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $250,000 to $290,000, based on a full-time equivalent (FTE). Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience while also considering internal equity. Additional incentive compensation may also be available for clinical work performed beyond the standard scope of responsibilities.
