Role Overview
Serve as a Family Medicine Core Faculty member in a community-based residency program, with a focus on academic leadership, curriculum development, and resident mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to resident education and program growth with minimal clinical duties (0.4 FTE).
- Develop and influence curriculum, resident training, and program initiatives.
- Engage in teaching, mentorship, and collaborative academic activities.
- Participate in outpatient clinical practice with flexibility to focus on areas like procedures, geriatrics, population health, OB, or pediatrics.
Qualifications & Skills
- Medical degree with eligibility for faculty appointment at a university level (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor).
- Strong interest in academic medicine, resident education, and community healthcare.
- Excellent mentorship, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop specialized interests and contribute to program development.
