Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the emergency department of a teaching hospital
• Support and develop health sciences research
• Contribute to training future healthcare providers for underserved populations
• Staffing the ED
• Participating in education and training
• Supporting research initiatives
• Improving healthcare access, quality, and outcomes
• Maintain timely documentation
• Ensure high patient and learner satisfaction

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and ATLS
• Clinical experience in ED, urgent care, rural practice, or teaching (preferred)
• Fellowship training or an advanced degree such as MPH (desirable)
