What You'll Do

  • Serve as lead counsel on divorce, custody, support, post-judgment, dependency, domestic violence, and high-asset cases
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, negotiations, evidentiary proceedings, and trials
  • Maintain a professional, confident courtroom presence
  • Communicate case strategy, options, and updates clearly with clients
  • Handle sensitive matters with empathy and diplomacy
  • Develop and execute tailored litigation strategies
  • Identify risks, evidentiary issues, and settlement opportunities early
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements
  • Proactively gather evidence and manage case progression
  • Apply strong legal analysis and sound professional judgment
  • Collaborate closely with paralegals, staff, and external experts
  • Provide direction while fostering a respectful team environment
  • Manage multiple priorities with strong organization and follow-through

Required

  • Extensive Florida family law experience with strong litigation background
  • Significant courtroom and trial experience
  • Active Florida Bar license in good standing
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills
  • Proven ability to manage cases from start to finish
  • Able to meet or exceed billable hour requirements

Preferred

  • Experience with high-asset divorces, business valuations, or complex financial matters
  • Experience mentoring junior attorneys or staff
