Family Law Attorney – High-Conflict and High-Asset Litigation

About the role

You will carry a full caseload of emotionally charged, high-conflict family law matters from day one, and you will be expected to handle them independently.

Responsibilities

• Draft all your own pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements without template reliance or substantive editing from others.
• Represent clients alone in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Manage your own docket, deadlines, and client communications without reminders or oversight.
• Collaborate with the firm's owner on strategy when needed, but bring solutions, not problems.

Requirements

• Hold an active New Jersey law license.
• Have 3–5 years of direct family law experience.
• Not primarily transactional or have only handled uncontested divorces.
• Be capable of handling high-asset and high-conflict matters where clients are experiencing trauma, anger, and fear.
• Be comfortable navigating intense emotions and separating client anxiety from case strategy.
• Already be excellent and looking for autonomy, not someone hoping to become excellent with mentorship.

Qualifications

Legal writing must be sharp and persuasive.
