Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in matters including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, post-judgment modifications, mediation, and litigation.
  • Manage a caseload, develop legal strategies, prepare pleadings and motions, negotiate settlements, and advocate for clients in court.
  • Provide exceptional legal counsel, ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the legal process.
  • Lead negotiations, represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials, and conduct legal research to strengthen strategies.
  • Build trust-based client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case progression.

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
  • Experience in family law, particularly in divorce, custody, and support cases.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic legal plans tailored to client needs.
  • Proven courtroom representation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with legal technology tools for case management.

Remote Work & Home Office Requirements

We are a 100% remote law firm. Applicants must have a dedicated home office setup meeting the following requirements:

  • Computer: Windows 11 Pro (preferred) or Home, Intel Core i5 processor (or AMD equivalent), 16 GB RAM, 2.0 GHz or higher, built-in or external webcam.
  • Internet: Reliable high-speed internet with minimum 100 Mbps download speed.
  • Workspace: Quiet, professional environment suitable for video meetings and phone calls.
