Todd & Weld LLP, a distinguished Boston-based firm of trial lawyers, seeks an associate with 3–6 years of experience in complex family law and probate litigation.
About the role
You will support and develop an active trial practice, taking responsibility for a varied caseload with direct contact with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex family-law and probate-litigation matters in Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts
- Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents
- Conduct discovery, depositions, and hearings
- Collaborate with colleagues, experts, and clients to prepare for trial
Requirements
- Admission to practice in Massachusetts
- 3–6 years of experience in family law and probate litigation
- Excellent writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Desire to develop a trial practice and manage a varied caseload
