About the role

Long-term part-time nanny/helper position caring for two children in Alexandria, VA. Approximately 12–16 hours per week, primarily between 3–8 PM, with occasional weekends. Schedule will stabilize once a routine is established.

Responsibilities

• Driving both children to after-school activities
• Preparing a simple family dinner
• Assisting the 8-year-old with homework
• Light housekeeping: laundry, kitchen cleanup, running the dishwasher, taking out trash when full

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Willingness to undergo a background check
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
• References from prior childcare experience

Qualifications
