Duties
- Assistance with personal care - Bathing, dressing, grooming
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry
- Shopping
- Meal prep
Education and Requirements
- Must have the ability to perform light housekeeping tasks such as:- lifting kitchen trash bags, pushing a vacuum, wiping counter tops, sanitizing bathrooms, which include bending, squatting, lifting under 25 pounds, pushing cleaning equipment, scrubbing, while practicing proper body mechanics.
- Experience in providing homecare and/or working with adults with a medical or mental health diagnosis strongly preferred! No CNA or HHA license required if you possess the experience
- A High School Diploma or GED
- A diagnosed medical condition (a physical challenge and/or mental health diagnosis)
- Be at least 22 years of age
- Be a MassHealth Standard or CommonHealth recipient, be enrolled in a Senior Care Option (SCO), or in a One Care program.
- Be approved by a Primary Care Physician.
Background Checks
- Candidates must pass CORI and CPS (child protective services) background checks.
