Family Caregiver

Addus Homecare is hiring Home Care Aides in the Metro Detroit and Downriver areas. Open and virtual interviews are available at the Detroit office in the Fisher Building. Candidates with experience in homecare, nursing homes, or caring for family members are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Personal care, dressing, bathing, grooming
• Provide and/or assist with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, meal preparation, vacuuming, bed making)
• Companionship

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Clean criminal background check
• Reliable transportation (car or public transportation)
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
• Three references (two professional and one personal) required at application
• Successfully complete pre‑service Home Care Aide training
• Must be reliable, courteous, honest, energetic, and caring
