About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide care for families in the greater Boston suburbs.
• Work 2-5 days per week between the hours of 8am-6pm, providing care for multiple families with children of all ages from infant to 12+.
• Create a safe environment for the children in their care to learn and play.
• Engage the children in creative arts & activities, as well as outdoor fun.
• Leave the families better by ensuring all kid-friendly messes are cleaned up before leaving.
• Communicate well with the kids & the parents.
• Enter your availability to care for families, we handle the scheduling for you - all on a user-friendly mobile app.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license and reliable car – transportation is part of the adventure!
• Experience caring for children for at least 2 years - great!
• Availability from 8am-6pm to work with a family in a 6-9 hour shift.
• At least 18 years of age, able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States, and willing/able to pass a thorough background check, including a driving record check in accordance with local law.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid training (reimbursed if you aren't certified)
• Fully-vetted families that are screened for safety
• Professionally paid position with direct deposit
• Staffing Manager to handle your schedule, payroll, and offers you ongoing support
• Professional development webinars through Relias that qualify for in-service credit

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour

• Are you able and willing to commute to families within a 30-35 minute drive?
• Do you have a personal vehicle to reliably drive to a family's home to care for their children?
• On a weekly basis, what days are you available 8a-6p to be scheduled a 6-9 hour day?
• Do you have experience caring for children ages 0-3? (that are not related to you)?
