Family Advocate

About the Role

As a Family Advocate, you'll serve as an advocate for children and families enrolled in our program by developing and maintaining relationships to promote socioeconomic mobility, family wellness, family development, and parent involvement to engage families and support their efforts to achieve overall positive family outcomes and school readiness for children. This position works with a variety of Youth In Need's Childcare Partners in St. Louis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with families to promote socioeconomic mobility
• Support family wellness and family development
• Encourage parent involvement to engage families
• Support families' efforts to achieve positive family outcomes and school readiness for children

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field, OR Family Development Credential (Youth In Need can help you obtain this)
• More than one year experience working with high-risk families
• Ability to be CPR certified
• Class E Driver's License

Pay

Hourly position starting at $20.23/hour.
