Family Advocate

About the role

The Family Advocate works together with families enrolled to assess family functioning and enhance parent(s)' ability to meet their own needs through the appropriate use of community resources.

Responsibilities

• Assess family functioning and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with families to access and utilize community resources
• Enhance parent(s)' ability to meet their own needs

Requirements

• AAS in Human Services or related field with knowledge of child development
• Completion of a degree and/or Family Development Credential within 18 months
