Two Tracks. One Team
We are hiring across two coaching tracks. Pick the one that fits you, or let us help you figure out where you belong.
Tots Coach
- Ages 2 to 5: $17–$19/hr
Evenings and Saturday mornings
SoccerTots, HoopsterTots, BaseballTots, 1stDownTots, Multi-SportTots, and more
You are naturally incredible with little ones. You get on their level, you speak toddler, and a room full of 2-year-olds does not intimidate you. It energizes you. Our Tots programs are not about making athletes. They are about helping small children feel capable, joyful, and brave. You do not need a sports resume. You need a heart for little ones and the patience to match. Experience in parenting, childcare, early childhood education, or preschool counts fully here. You will represent Skyhawks with a genuine love for kids, coaches, and community, and that will show in everything you do.
General Coach
- Ages 6 to 13: $17–$19/hr
Weekday afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays
Soccer, Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, Pickleball, Flag Rugby, Field Hockey, Cheer, Multi-Sport, and more
You have a sport background, or two. You know how to run a drill, keep a group focused, and still make it genuinely fun. You are comfortable leading kids who are old enough to have opinions and young enough to still need a whole lot of encouragement. You want work that is active, meaningful, and fits around your real life. And you understand that the way you show up on the field says something to every kid and every parent watching. You will represent Skyhawks with love for kids, coaches, and community, and that is something we take seriously.
The Director Track
For Those Who Want to Lead More
Some coaches come in and just want to coach. That is great. Others show up and it is obvious almost immediately: this person could run something. If you have the organizational instincts, communication skills, and drive to take real ownership of a program or location, there is a clear path forward here. Our strongest coaches earn the opportunity to step into Director-level roles with expanded responsibility and recognition that reflects it. We are growing across the Treasure Valley and we need leaders, not just hires. If you see yourself building something rather than just filling a shift, tell us that in your application. We will notice.
What You Will Do
- Lead small groups of children through age-appropriate, skill-based sessions using Skyhawks' proven curriculum.
- Create genuine relationships with the kids in your program and the parents who trust you with them.
- Create a culture in every session where each child, regardless of skill level, feels like they belong.
- Show up prepared, communicate clearly, and represent Skyhawks with love for kids, coaches, and community.
- Help set up and manage equipment in a safe, organized environment.
Who We Are Looking For
Someone who is genuinely good with kids and shows it without being told to.
Reliability matters more than a resume. Show up, follow through, and grow.
A sport background is valued, but a coaching heart is required.
Availability for at least one consistent day per week, with flexibility to grow into more as you settle in.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation across the Treasure Valley.
What You Will Receive
- $17–$19/hr with raises tied to reliability and growth.
- Paid training and free First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Flexible scheduling built around your real life.
- A team that genuinely invests in you and pours into you.
- A clear pathway into Director-level roles as we expand.
- Work you will actually tell people about, because it mattered.
